4th SUNDAY OF ORDINARY TIME
YEAR A
29/01/2012
The Parish Church of St. Bartholomew is situated in the Village of Rainhill, Merseyside, about eleven miles from Liverpool.
Rainhill, although much changed from the outlying village that existed here until the 1960's, still maintains much of its charm and is surrounded by countryside. It is a great place to live not only because of the village atmosphere and thriving shops but also because it is central for travel to all parts of the country by road (M62), by rail (Liverpool-Manchester) and by air (Liverpool Airport)
Our Parish Priest is Fr. Phil Swanson and he is assisted by our Deacon Rev. Bernard Smith and retired Deacon, Rev. Bert Wright..Fr. Phil is also the Parish Priest of St. Theresa's,Sutton Manor.
